Just a quicky. We went to the Zoo today, the "Ouwehands" in Rhenen, Netherlands to be precise. I took a lot of pictures, but only 2 or 3 turned out fairly nice. This was one of them.
Used this type of framing again to focus on the cat's head. You can almost hear it purrrrr. And I boosted the colours in the highlighted area a bit using PS7, and desuturated the rest.
beautiful image DG... excellent use of selective coloring and framing... how close were you to this charming yet dangerous specimen... i heard cats dont like goblins much

Beautiful photography...and I want me a cat like that! I love how you framed the subject - keeping the focus off-center and desaturating the "excess." *thumbs up*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
